This work represents the culmination of three years of undergraduate study. Out of a desire to make this research publicly available I have published it in its entirety on this site.
Getting this endeavour online has been a part–time hobby for several months and I have tried to ensure the highest degree of accuracy possible. However if you spot any errors or omissions in the content of my research and in particular if you spot any technical or semantic issues with the implementation of this resource then I would love to hear from you.
Update: January 2024
In the time since this resource was originally published as a very basic PHP web app way back at the end of 2009, I have struggled to make the time to maintain it. Fast foward almost 15 years(!) and I found myself all too painfully aware of the fact that the web app was returning a 500 error. Even back when it was working, it wasn’t even mobile friendly!
The quickest way I could think of to right these wrongs was to import the content into WordPress. Whilst I originally eschewed using a CMS on the basis that accessibility compliance was pretty terrible, in recent years things have improved dramatically. I wouldn’t want to say WordPress is perfect so all I will ask is that you let me know using the contact details below if you find any issues with accessing these pages.
In keeping with my passion for web standards and accessibility, I am especially keen to hear from accessibility experts and disabled visitors who have suggestions for improvements or experience problems with using this site. Please feel free to contact me using the details below and help me to improve this resource further!
